My name is Fia and photography is my passion.

I know, everyone says the same thing. But I have to say it, because it really is true.

I’ve always felt a need to portray my surroundings. A desire to document life around me. For me photography is a way to “save” special moments and make them available for anyone to experience, even many years later.

I also want to put my own unique fingerprint on what I do, because it’s all about expressing myself. To show the world the way I see it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to manipulate reality. Rather, my goal is to show it in a slightly different way, a way that makes people stop and think. The aim is to highlight the details. To make the small seem large or the inconsequential seem important. Sometimes the world is so focused on what will happen next that no one takes the time to stop and see what is here and now right in front of them…
